Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive therapy is an effective form of treatment that focuses on examining the relationships between thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a “problem focused” and “action oriented” theory which can be applied to a variety of issues people face on a daily basis.
When people learn to become more aware of their thoughts and how they effect feelings and behaviors, they can become more strategic on how to make the positive changes they desire. CBT along with other Positive Psychology techniques can help people learn how to reach their immediate and long-term goals.
